Volume and sound energy have been significantly reduced compared to an acoustic cello. The cello's playing feel, which is transmitted to the fingertips and body, has been maintained, while achieving excellent quietness. It is also ideal for nighttime practice in any location. The neck, fingerboard, strings, and bridge are made of the same materials as acoustic cellos and finished to a high degree of precision, so there is no discomfort when playing.
Even beginners can enjoy a relatively clear tone.
We have further refined our technology to electronically reproduce the unique resonance of stringed instruments. Newly designed pickups and electronic circuits that detect string vibrations. The new pickups and electronic circuits that detect the vibration of the strings have been newly designed to achieve a sound quality that can reproduce even the breath of a cello player. In addition, a reverb function that creates a reverberant effect through digital signal processing is included. This function reproduces the resonance of an acoustic cello and hall echoes, allowing even beginners to enjoy clear sound with relatively easy bowing. The reverb function can be switched between three levels: "small room, medium hall, and large hall.
●Ensemble performance with other Silent Series instruments is possible.
In addition to the headphone jack, a line-out jack is provided. It can also be connected to an external amplifier for ensemble performance with other Silent Series instruments. By connecting a music data player or CD player to the AUX-in jack, you can enjoy cello parts along with orchestral or piano music, or record your own performance.
