AIOC All In One Cable For Ham Radio transceivers including Baofeng, Quansheng and many other makes of portable transceiver.

FIRMWARE PRE-LOADED AND READY FOR USE

This is a kit of all the parts needed to assemble the open-source project (https://github.com/skuep/AIOC) The All In One Cable (AIOC) from Simon Küppers

It includes:

I recommend using the 3D printed soldering jig to ensure good alignment. This is not included but the print files are on the github repository and also on my ebay store.

These units are not assembled but do have the latest (1.2.0) firmware installed as a basic confidence test of the operation of the AOIC processor.

This item is currently in beta testing phase - Be wary! Please read this README on github and familiarize yourself with the item and how to use it.

This adapter incorporates thee functions:

It is an amazing addition to your portable transceiver

You can use this for APRS, Packet Radio, Winlink, Programming or any other sound card data mode.

Compatible with all portable radios that use the Kenwood Style connector (unless your radio has the programming chip built in, then it will only do data modes, not programming).

If your radio doesn't have the Kenwood connector, you can easily make own custom cable using the solder pads on the board.

Please note this is an experimental and hobby item and is not ruggedised for commercial use. The exposed components are vulnerable to damage through mishandling.

The firmware and operation of this unit is dependent entirely on the open-source project and subject to those limitations.

For instructions on how to use this this AIOC, see https://github.com/skuep/AIOC

Please note: there is a minor issue with the AOIC when used with radios with attached antennas, where the transmit power can cause the AOIC to lock up. This issue does not seem to occur when used with an antenna connected via coax cable.

The CM108 PTT takes some configuration to work in DireWolf, and is not supported on the Windows version. The serial port PTT is straightforward to set up with a config line such as:
PTT /dev/ttyACM0 -RTS DTR
