1. Capital,
The Communist Manifesto and Other Writings, Karl Marx, 1932: Typical handling
and shelf wear. Slightly cocked spine. Shaken spine. Head and toe are bumped.
Light chipping to corners. Some soiling and scuffing to boards. Edges are
tanned. Previous owner’s bookplate on front pastedown. Tanning to pages. I
didn’t notice any other defects or intrusive markings to the interior pages.

2. The
Satyricon of Petronius Arbiter, no copyright date: Typical Handling and shelf
wear. Shaken spine. Scuffing to joints and board edges. Head, toe, corners, are
bumped and chipped. Soiling to boards and spine. Bottom edge of front and back
boards is bumped. Edges are tanned and scuffed. Previous owner’s name on front
pastedown. Pencil markings on front flyleaf. Tanning to pages. I didn’t notice
any other defects or intrusive markings to the interior pages. Please see

3. Plato’s
The Republic, no copyright date: Typical handling and shelf wear. Slightly
cocked spine. Shaken spine. Bumps and chipping to head, toe, corners. Some
soiling to boards and spine. Edges are tanned and soiled. Previous owner’s
bookplate on front pastedown. Tanning to pages. I didn’t notice any other

Works, The Aeneid, Eclogues, Georgics, 1934: Severe crease to front board.
Heavy handling and shelf wear. Bumps and chipping to head, toe, corners. Boards
and spine are soiled and scuffed. Cocked spine. Shaken spine. Edges are tanned.
