Thank you for looking at my auction. Before the item description please read my terms:

I do NOT use stock photos of the items for sale. All photos are of the actual item(s) you will receive. Background paintings and other backdrops are for photographic purposes and are not included in the auction.

I do NOT accept returns. These are collectible items and there are NO RETURNS.

I ship using USPS (Usually Priority Mail) and set a price for this from the post office plus ebay's percent.

I only ship to the lower 48 States, USA.

I am not a collector or expert regarding these auction items but will look up the items to try and give a better description. I am not sure if these items are complete or not and my opinion on their condition is an estimate as I am not a professional grader of collectibles or comic books. The photos are part of the description and show what you will receive except for the background staging. I will usually try and set a low starting bid, but you must determine the value of the items, their condition based on your standards, and their level of completeness. Please ask questions on the items if my description and the photos have not answered all of your concerns. Please give me 24 - 48 hours to respond as I cannot perform these eBay tasks on all days.

I purchased three of these Takara figures (2 small box figures the #1 and #3, and 1 large box figure the #4) at Mr Big's Toyland in Waltham, Massachusetts in the late 1980s and put them into storage until now. I will put them all up for auction in the same week. All of these figures have different but similar faces, different eye color and different shades of hair color. The #1 and #3 are basic figures with only a shirt and shorts and the #4 is a fully dressed WWII German officer, and all are mint condition with high grade boxes.
According to Wiki, Takara licensed the right to produce their line of GI Joe (called Combat Joe) in 1970 from Hasbro, they added the Henshin (meaning Transform) Cyborg line shortly after. The figures I am selling were produced in the early 1980s for the Japan market a number of years after Hasbro stopped making the 12-inch GI Joes, The Defenders, and Super Joe. They are unique in that Takara made their own heads and each was different for each figure, The body is very similar to the original long standing GI Joe body from the 1960s and early 1970s also using hands that are nearly identical to Hasbro's kung fu grip hands, but the back of the figure is stamped Takara, and the pelvic section is unmarked. They also made their own outfits for the figures not using Hasbro's patterns or accessories. When these toys were made Takara was still its own company and did not merge with Tomy until 2006.
Mr Big's Toyland in Waltham was a great place and "Mrs Big" handled the GI Joe and Captain Action items and any of the consignments they sold as well. Mr Big/Arthur had good connections around the country and would get toy closeouts at a good price. I remember seeing about 50 Mego Mummies MIB on a shelf when in there one day...$30 each. Sorry, but I did not buy any of them...but someone out there may be sitting on them.
Thank you for viewing my auction and Happy Bidding.
