Extraordinary performance, high efficiency and first-class workmanship "Made in Germany" - these are the success factors of the popular POW 160 and POW 172 compression systems. Building on these cornerstones, ETON now presents the successors POW 160.2 and 172.2 - completely revised and ready to become bestsellers again.

Visually, the new POW 160.2 rises to the top league thanks to numerous innovations: the basket is coated in Satin Black, the newly designed pole plate in RSE design increases the attractiveness as do colorfully printed dust caps - all in a chic ETON design.

What is still characteristic is the low impedance of the POW system, which ensures a crisp increase in volume on the radio and power amplifier. The woofer's membrane is constructed as a glass/paper mix and offers excellent rigidity and low weight. The new magnet ensures a strong drive with clean and extremely powerful bass. Together with these innovations and the 25 mm fabric dome with crystal-clear high-frequency reproduction without sharpening, the POW 160.2 plays right into the hearts of ETON fans.

Developed and manufactured in Germany, this 2-way system is a guarantee for music enjoyment in the vehicle. An optimal addition to the POW 160.2 to the 3-way compo system is the 80 mm ETON midrange driver PRW 80.

POW 160 and 172 are considered the absolute top sellers among ETON's 16 compo systems. People often asked about the difference, as both systems are almost identical in terms of the woofer except for the drive. The small but subtle difference lies in the nature of the tweeter. While the POW 172 has an aluminum coated dome, the POW 160 has a fabric dome (silk). Fans had more than enough of both systems, so it's only logical that after the POW 172, ETON has now given the 160 a massive facelift plus feature expansion. The low impedance is still characteristic, which results in a clear increase in volume on the radio and power amplifier. This is reflected in the POW 160.2 with a loud 90 dB. Visually, the POW 160.2 rises to the top league thanks to numerous innovations. The basket is now coated in "satin black", a newly designed base plate in RSE design increases the attractiveness as well as the colored printed dome and the rubber cap - all in the unique ETON design. The membrane made of a glass/paper sandwich construction offers excellent rigidity with low weight, and a new magnet ensures the exciting drive. Clean and extreme bass as well as a crystal clear treble without sharpening make the POW 160.2 the logical further development of the POW 160. Developed and manufactured in Germany, this 2-way system is a further guarantee of music enjoyment in the vehicle.
