This unique toy was mine when I was a young girl.  The body is in very good condition.  It takes 3 "D" cell batteries to make it operate - feet rotate, it travels back and forth with a move of the tail.  Also supposed to whistle.  I could not get it to run at this time; however, my batteries may have been too old.  So, I can't guarantee it will run.  Maybe someone with more expertise can figure out what the problem is.  You can see from the photos that the eyes are scratched and there is a crack in one of the wings.  There is also minimal scuffing by the tail and on the head.  This would be such a fantastic purchase for yourself or even an ideal gift - especially for a collector.
