DESCRIPTION & CONDITION

Up for your consideration is a pre-owned, vintage clear art glass flower vase in an art deco design with embossed flying swifts motif. 

The makers label is not present and there are no inscribed marks to help identify its maker. The maker and where it was made is unconfirmed.

That said, I suspect it is European, possibly Czechoslovakian. It is difficult to tell how old it may be by its impeccable condition but could be 1930s to mid 20th century based on it's art deco style design. There are no mold seams on this vase.  It is difficult to see on the photos but if it helps, there is a smooth, polished oval pontil mark on the bottom to confirm its manufacturing process. 

This item is in beautiful gently used condition, without cracks or chips and only very minor, typical scuffs on the bottom side.  It can use a thorough cleaning because there is minor water residue soiling on the inside.

A very nice find, which will make a great decorative addition to any period décor.
