Rare Voigtländer Braunschweig Field Monocular

You are bidding on a rare Voigtländer Braunschweig Military(?) Field Monocular. It is in good condition considering its age.  Sold in as found condition, would recommend professional restoration.  There are some dust inside the lenses, but the projected image is clear.  The maker mark is faint and the design appears as just the left side of a binocular, however I can't find any sign of modification.  The strap loop does make it look like, just a half side, making this even more interesting - perhaps a war-time modification (Ersatz)?
