Promotional items from the private collection of a
music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. All of
these were promotional items distributed with the release of the associated
records unless otherwise noted.
In 1980, after a two-year hiatus from the music business, David Geffen started Geffen Records. His deal, financing and distribution was through Warner Bros. Records.
This cap was one of the Geffen Records Promotional items that were created to introduce his eponymous and soon- to-be legendary record label. Very few of these were made and were primarily distributed to staff members.
This is a Fitted Cap (Size: 7 1/4) with embroidered logos and a Wool body.
This cap has never been worn.
This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from Geffen Records in 1980. It has been in storage for 43 years.
