Condition:

Very Good to Fine (Mint).

Generally the books are in Very Good + condition with only minor shelf wear. A few are exceptionally clean and a few have mild tanning or light wear at the extremities. All the pages are very clean and bright and all the textblocks and hinges are firm.


Neat old previous-owner name or inscription to four books (aside from the author-signed books). No other writing. 

The cover of The Sphinx is creased and worn.

George Meredith: A Tribute has a small water stain to the lower inner corner of the first two leaves and spotting to the title page.

Rhymes and Rhythms has a small newspaper clipping of Betsy Ross on front free endpaper.

Mirrors of the Fire has an old Library stamp at the bottom of the dedication page. No other library marks.
