Boxcar Sides are White. Doors, Roof, and Ends are Black. Right side of Doors has Bold Black print LIONEL, 1997, RAILRIDE TOUR is in script, Black highlighted in Red. The Left Sides of Doors have two different multi-colored HORDE logos.

HORDE 97 was a successful music migration of concerts consisting of a three week tour of Europe, and a number of dates in the US. The shows consisted of music from Headliners, Non-headliners, and Battle of the Bands. A large portion of travel between shows was by trains, So RAILRIDE TOUR. Neil Young was one of the controlling organizers. Neil has been an ambassador, supporter, and investor / owner of Lionel, so the uncataloged boxcar was produced to promote and sponsor Festival 97.
