well made old grandmother chair. the seat is elm and the rest most likely beech.

seat is quite comfy. sitting in the lounge here some people are naturally drawn to sit in it. it has some appeal.

you might notice the front left leg has been chopped down a little, about 3/4 to 1". presumably because the seat has warped front left.

chair is repaired and has a coat of  sanding sealer and wax.
