In my acquisition of some of the Bileski estate, I found these. At the time they were just scattered about in one huge lot I obtained! For several years I did not even know what I had acquired! After organizing and research, I found how rare these really are.

There is very little documentation on this series. I was lucky to find the green envelope imaged with its contents still intact. Inside were a vertical and a horizontal gutter PAIR of the Roses issue as described on the envelope.

Apparently it is "possible" there may be more horizontal gutters that exist for the 20l value than the Roses 2F value. I doubt it though as the 20l value was printed on two DIFFERENT press sheets but with other values on those press sheets as well. The 20l value was printed in two panes on the bottom half of the sheet whereas the Roses 2F was printed on all four panes of the press sheet. This means there are no vertical gutters of it except with other values at the top. Each a rarity in itself!

I believe my starting bid for this is fair.
