St Germain Tourist (20th Anniversary Travel Versions)

20th Anniversary Travel Versions 2LP vinyl in gatefold cover

Around the 20th To celebrate the anniversary of his album »Tourist«, Ludovic Navarre alias St Germain invited producers, DJs and remixers from Great Britain, South Africa, the USA, La Réunion and France with various musical backgrounds from deep house to Afro house and Chicago house.

He explains: »I would like to thank all the people I asked to travel to their favorite track on the album “Tourist”. Some of them worked on my last Africa-inspired album in 2015, for example my good friend AtJazz, who helped me a lot with this new project, but also Terry Laird, DJ Deep and Traumer. I don't need to introduce highly regarded newcomers like Nightmares on Wax, JoVonn, Ron Trent, Black Motion, Osunlade and Jullian Gomes. I admire her passion for music, her personality and her musical integrity. I know they have a soul!”

This journey began in England with the deep house version of “Rose Rouge” by British producer Martin Iveson aka AtJazz on June 16th. October followed South Africa with DJ Murdah & Thabo Smol, who together form the South African Afro-house music duo Black Motion and delivered their personal version of the highly praised single "Sure Thing".
