** English Brass Figural Norseman Door Knocker ( 1920s 30s ~ Ex ) **

For sale is a beautifully crafted English brass door knocker depicting an armed Viking and longship with decorative figurehead. Door knocker measures 6 inches in height and 3-13/16 inches in width, being in excellent working condition without any damage or repairs and showing a good age patina. Backside is marked with a registration number 7_7222, the second digit I think being a 9 which would date it to 1934, but I’m not sure, so the knocker dates between 1924-1934.
