An extremely rare and very collectible item - a genuine 1950s Carabinieri Polizia (Italian Police) leather helmet and goggles.
The helmet is very nicely made but please be aware it is made for a very small head - the diameter is approximately 6.5 inches - I cannot actually squeeze it onto my head but I do always have to get a large size in hats and caps!!
I am presuming they have both been worn in the line of duty and so the helmet does have wear but is actually in very good condition for the age. The goggles are also in good condition, just the orange rubber surround is very stiff and curled (see pictures). The goggles come in the original metal storage tin, and they even come with 2 extra unused sets of coloured lenses! Please see pictures.
A rare and unique item that could make an excellent prop (if for a small-headed person)!!
