This 1968 / 1969 AA864 Circuit Fender 'Drip Edge' Vibrolux Reverb is in excellent condition and sounds every but as good as it looks! 100% perfect functionality.

While 1970 was apparently the year that Fender "officially" introduced this fantastic amp, you'll find components from both 68 and 69 which would be common for an early build. The Chassis itself dates to 1969. The Iron all dates from 1968 and 1969. The Speakers however are from 1970, coinciding with Fenders offical release date.

That makes this drip edge amplifier a super early build with some very sought after components!

The amp has had a fresh re-cap (a necessity in all vintage amps) but is other wise 100% stock. Fender's Vibrolux Reverb amp is a 35 watt 2 x 10" layout that offers tremendous headroom as a clean pedal platform. It can also be wound up into glorious warm rich over driven tones with natural compression made famous by guitar greats all over the world.
