The outer cover boards do have some "bending in" along the edges and corners as shown in the pictures as if it had been tightly wrapped for a period of time. There is a bit of writing on the inside top portion of the front map as pictured. There is no dust jacket for this book. There is a fold out map included. This collectable edition would be great to add to any collection of Viking history.
