A new, limited release 30 year old Islay Single Malt from this iconic distillery. The first release in a series of 5 individual chapters charting the importance and legacy of Ian Hunter, a relation to the founding brothers of the distillery, who, during his stewardship of the distillery (1908-1954) launched Laphroaig as a Single Malt, increased output and distributed to the US.
Titled 'Unique Character' this whisky has been matured in first fill ex-Bourbon barrels, reflecting Hunter's original decision to introduce American Oak into the maturation programme.
The whisky is said to be ‘beautifully rounded with a combination of sweet, zesty and medicinal notes’. Presented in a faux hardback book case, only 4800 bottles have been produced.
This is sure to be one of the most anticipated whisky collections of the coming years, don't miss your chance to buy the first release in this era defining collection!
Due to the rarity of this release 1 bottle per customer rule applies.
