This is an original Korean War U.S. Ike jacket. It is a size 40R, and was manufactured by Beaconwear Clothing Co. on May 20, 1953. The satin lining is marked with its original owner's laundry number, G-9694. We can tell by the since-removed oval patch above the wearer's left chest pocket that he was once a member of a parachute infantry regiment. This jacket shows signs of use, but is in good condition. Use the larger picture option to view all the details.
