Please note that you are bidding on one lock only. Two identical locks are available to purchase. A Victorian steel privacy rim lock c1890 which has been stripped of several layers of paint and comes in an attractive burnished industrial finish. There is a sliding lever at the top which operates the lock  One is a right hand fit, the other is a left hand fit. However if desired the sliding lever could be located at the bottom, making it a universal fit. It measures 115mm x 97mm x 18mm. The distance between the centre of the spindle and the outside edge of the lock is 82mm. It has been oiled and has a smooth action. It comes with a new/old stock cast iron keep and a pair of period polished brass door knobs complete with back plate. The knobs are in very good condition with no dents. A perfect period accessory for an authentic house restoration and ready to fit. Please study the photos as they form part of the description. Please also see my other items of architectural salvage interest. Dispatched with Royal Mail second class signed for post. I am happy to combine postage if purchasing both sets.
