What's unique about this periodical item is that the person wrote in all the track event scores when Oberlin college was facing Western Reserve at Athletic Park, Oberlin. This program also shows in print the Track Meets' officials, Athletic Association Officers, student adverts for college amenities, schedules for the track meets & baseball teams, and lastly Railway Company (The Green Line) for getting to Oberlin.

This Program came from a US veteran nurse who attended Oberlin college back before the war in 1907-1911. She saved everything, and even in my present or future listings you will see some of the coolest and rare sports ephemeral memorabilia from a student who attended these games.
Trying to determine first names of student athletes from other articles, photos, and yearbooks that are available, deemed to be a challenge. I think that these pieces of evidence to help locate history is significant for Ohio's athletics region for college sports prior to World War I. These programs, scorecards and others from my other listings were not supposed to be saved.
Due to the age, the program from this listing will show wear, yellowing of pages, creasing, writing from the student mentioned above.
