 Guarantee

I buy things on eBay as well, and completely understand how disappointing it can be when something isn't exactly what I expected. As a result, I offer the following guarantee on this listing. If for any reason this item isn't up to your expectations in any way, simply return it and I'll give you a full
refund of the item price - no questions asked!

Please note: any shipping and packaging charges incurred during the transaction are non-refundable. Leaving neutral or negative feedback concludes the transaction and voids this guarantee.

Synopsis* (possible spoiler alert)

Five years after the first film, Mia Thermopolis graduates from Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs at Princeton University, returning to Genovia. There, she awaits her grandmother, Queen Clarisse's, abdication. Dancing with all eligible bachelors at her 21st birthday party to find a husband, she meets a dashing young gentleman named Nicholas, and the two become mutually attracted. During the evening, Mia's tiara falls off, caught by Member of Parliament (MP), Viscount Mabrey, who secretly plans to steal the crown.

During the Parliamentary session the next morning, Mia hears Mabrey revealing his nephew, Lord Devereaux, to be the next male heir to the throne. By law, Mia can only be Queen if she marries within the month. Clarisse invites Lord Devereaux to stay at the palace, and Mia is shocked to discover he is Nicholas. Her best friend, Lilly Moscovitz, surprises her with a visit. Together, they look through potential husbands. Mia eventually chooses Andrew Jacoby, Duke of Kenilworth, and days later, they are engaged. Mabrey plans to have Nicholas seduce Mia so the engagement will fail. Joe tries to persuade Clarisse to publicly pursue their feelings for each other as her reign as queen is coming to an end.

Mia has to ride sidesaddle for a ceremony but is inexperienced, so Queen Clarisse provides an ancestral wooden leg decoy so it seems she's doing so. When Mabrey spooks Mia's horse with a rubber snake, Joe inadvertently tears off the wooden leg. Humiliated, she flees to the stables, where Nicholas fails to comfort her. At a garden party, Mia and Nicholas quarrel about her relationship with Andrew. As they argue, he kisses her. At first, she kisses him back but then backs away. Pursuing her, they fall into a fountain. Queen Clarisse tells Mia that her behaviour with Nicholas has to stop.

At the Genovian Independence Day parade, seeing some boys harassing a little girl, Mia abruptly halts the parade to help. Learning the girl, Carolina, and the others are orphans, she has a vendor give them all tiaras and lets them walk with them in the parade. Everyone is impressed, while Mabrey sees it as a political manoeuvre. Nicholas is also struck by Mia's care for Genovia and begins doubting taking over the throne. Mia later declares the conversion of a royal palace into a temporary children's centre.

At Mia's bachelorette slumber party, princesses attend from around the world. They mattress surf and sing karaoke. Meanwhile, Nicholas tries to stop his uncle from pursuing the throne as Mia is doing well as a ruler. Mabrey realises Nicholas has fallen for her, but believes Mia will never love him. Mabrey encourages him to pursue her, later revealing to his surly and mistreated housekeeper Gretchen he plans to let this ruin Mia's chances of becoming queen. Manipulating Nicholas, he makes him believe it was his late father's wish for him to become king. Nicholas helps Mia succeed at hitting the target as she is practicing for her coronation rites. He tells her he is leaving, but asks to see her once more before he goes. She declines, as she is under close guard.

That night, Nicholas convinces Mia to sneak out. By a lake, they share secrets, dance, and eventually fall asleep. They awaken to find a man filming them. Mia thinks Nicholas set her up, while he insists he had no idea. The scandalous footage is already being broadcast before she returns. Disappointed, Andrew kisses Mia to see if there is a romantic spark between them. There isn't, but they do not call off the wedding for the good of Genovia. The wedding is the following day, and Mia's mother, Helen, comes with her new husband Patrick O'Connell and their newborn son named Trevor. Nicholas decides against attending, until Gretchen tells him Mabrey engineered the televised scandal.

Before the wedding, Joe tells Mia that Nicholas is innocent. Walking down the aisle, she suddenly stops and runs out of the church. Queen Clarisse follows and Mia says she doesn't want to be forced to marry. Clarisse encourages her to follow her heart, something she never did, costing her Joe, the love of her life. Returning into the church, Mia points out to everyone that her unmarried grandmother has ruled Genovia for many years, asking the members of parliament to reconsider the law, asking them if they would force the significant women in their lives to marry without love. Mabrey again suggests his nephew be named King instead, but Nicholas appears, refusing the crown. Mia proposes the law on royal marriages be abolished, and the Parliament unanimously assents. Clarisse proposes to Joe and they are promptly married.

A week later, Mia is preparing for her coronation when Nicholas arrives. Professing his love on bended knee, they kiss. The next day, Queen Clarisse steps down, and Mia is crowned "Her Majesty Amelia Mignonette Thermopolis Renaldi, Queen of Genovia", with all in attendance in the palace.

An epilogue shows the Genovian Parliament now allows female members, one of whom is Charlotte (Clarisse's lady-in-waiting). In a final scene, Queen Mia officially opens a new children's home with Carolina.

Feedback Policy

I sell tangible goods - NOT feedback. For this reason, I do not leave feedback for buyers, and never have done. I use the automated feedback system which eBay provides sellers. It is triggered to leave a positive rating and a random comment (from a list of 10 saved comments) upon receipt of positive feedback from the buyer - or in simpler terms, at the conclusion of the transaction.

If you're expecting feedback prior to the conclusion of the transaction, or if you expect personalised rather than generic comments, please be prepared for disappointment.
Any/all message requests for feedback will either receive a generic reply, or be ignored completely.

So the bottom line is; don't expect feedback, don't be a feedback beggar, and your feedback score will automatically increase by one after you complete the transaction. If you disagree with my feedback policy, please find an alternate seller.

Terms of Sale (the fine print)

Unfortunatelya certain undesirable element has made the inclusion of these terms a necessity. They are as follows;

  1. By bidding, buying or making an offer, you agree that you have read the listing in its entirety - including these terms. You acknowledge understanding all content, and confirm complete agreement with same.

  2. All of my listings have preferences set to automatically decline unrealistic offers. I'm not in the habit of giving things away, so please keep it real.

  3. Sending ridiculously low counter offers (lowballing) will result in you being blocked immediately. If you seriously think I will entertain an offer of $2.50 for a $425.00 item, I suggest you seek help for your condition. Perhaps unassisted online shopping isn't an appropriate activity for you.

  4. While on the subject of blocking, if you wish to make an offer, please use the tools provided by eBay. If you try to circumvent the system by messaging me with an offer, you will be reported for trying to trade outside of eBay, and voilĂ ... you're blocked.

  5. Estimated delivery times are just that - an estimate. They are provided by eBay, and have nothing whatsoever to do with either the delivery service provider or the seller.

  6. Postage star ratings for all items are in relation to the seller's handling time. As in, how long it takes them to post the item after receiving your payment. You are rating the seller - NOT the delivery service provider. Sellers have no control over delivery times for Australia Post, Aramex, DHL, or any other chosen shipping company. If you wish to rate their service, please visit their respective website. Using the eBay feedback system to rate a seller's handling time, based on the level of service you were provided by a third party, is not only unfair, it's highly inappropriate.

  7. At the time of dispatch, you will receive an email advice with an attached photograph of the item as it went out the door. While items are dispatched at all hours of the day and night, in most cases they are generally not picked up until some time between 8am and 6pm on the following business day (usually around noon, but times vary).

  8. Different screen resolutions may alter colours on different devices.

  9. Any measurements given are done by hand, and therefore approximate. Please allow for a variation of anywhere up to 10 - 20mm

  10. My home is smoke free, but not pet free. While all care is taken, the possibility still remains of static electricity causing lint, thread, plastic or even a stray hair to cling to packaging items. If there's even the slightest chance you may find this offensive, please do not purchase this item.

  11. Upon entry of the UPC number, item specifics are auto-filled by the eBay system. These system generated product details overwrite manual entries, and may, or may not be accurate.

  12. The grading system used on my listings is provided by eBay. For console game discs, CDs and DVDs, it is as follows;

    Disc Condition

    Scratching/Marking

    Rating

    Brand New

    N/A

    N/A

    Like New

    Blemish Free

    Very Good

    Anywhere between Light and Medium

    Good

    Anywhere between Medium and High

    Acceptable

    Anywhere between High and Extreme

    All
items are graded based on whichever category applies best to the item. As an example, an item listed as "Good" condition, doesn't mean it is in good condition. It means it is the grading (as the second lowest), which best applies to the item. If you disagree with the grading system implemented by eBay and used in this listing, please do not buy this item.

  13. When an item is described as used, that means it is used. All known defects, blemishes or imperfections are noted in the listing. If you are wanting a new item, please buy one. Do not buy a used item and expect something brand new to be delivered - especially for $3.00 with free postage.

  14. If something is described as having medium to high level scratching, expect it to have medium to high level scratching. Complaining that your item showed up scratched when that is exactly how it was described casts serious doubt on your character and/or intelligence. Once again, if you are after a blemish free item, please buy it new.

  15. Used CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs are checked for defects under warm light, cool light and natural light. They are then tested on a Laser BLU-BD4000 Blu-ray player, while console games are tested on the relevant gaming console. Due to varying levels of sensitivity between playback units, what works without fault on my test equipment may not work properly on your personal setup. I am not responsible for the quality or functionality of your hardware, and am in no way at fault if the disc doesn't function correctly in your system.
Please Note: There is a known sensitivity issue with LG - DV582H DVD players.

  16. In the unlikely event of something going wrong, you agree to contact me first before taking any other action. You agree to assist me with any investigation by providing any/all requested information as soon as possible.

  17. All items above $15.00 in value, and all items larger than a letter will be shipped with tracking.

  18. To avoid damage in transit, all items are packaged in a professional manner for shipping. This is NOT negotiable. Any requests for modifications to packaging practices will be declined. Not only do I know what I'm doing, but I don't tell you how to do your job - so don't tell me how to do mine!

  19. Just because an item is listed as "free postage" does not mean that postage is free. It is not. It means that the postage cost is factored into the sale price, and borne by the seller. Any refunds provided will have the actual postage and packaging charges, along with all applicable fees deducted from the refund amount you are given.

  20. Never assume. If you find any missing or incomplete information in a listing, please ask for further details. I'm always only too happy to help out whenever I can, and would appreciate the opportunity to revise the listing.

  21. My hours of operation vary each day, but I am generally available during the following Sydney times;

    Day

    Hours

  22. Purple monkey dishwasher! I just thought I'd toss that in there to see if you're paying attention. Quote this phrase in the buyers note during checkout to receive a 10% discount on your order.

  23. Finally, if you don't agree with all of the above, please find another seller.
