I believe it is silver plate but can not be positive. It opens and closes beautifully and works exactly as expected. It measures approximately 12” tall and 9” wide and weighs almost 4.5 pounds when empty.

CONDITION: I tried to show all of the following in the pictures but feel free to ask for more pictures or follow up questions.

1. There is some tarnishing in a few spots which appears to be easily cleaned if you choose.

2. Some light surface scratching and wear.

3. I also see 2 small dents which I tried to show in the pictures as well.

Overall still a beautiful piece but does show some wear and use.
