This  1930 vintage Stieff sterling silver plate is a true treasure for any collector of antique silverware. Crafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, this 6" 0600 edition plate is a beautiful example of Stieff's sterling silver craftsmanship.

Oddly, in addition to the normal marks, there also appears to be a very tiny engraving to the lower left of the Stieff stamp (pictured). It appears to be "FIPS7". I've never seen this before and have no idea how it got there or what it means.
