WW1 colourised/artwork colour postcards of military railways engineer troops.
One postcard
“Unsere Pioniere” is a heavily coloured artwork photo rendition of light field
railway train crossing a constructed wooden trestle bridge with railway
pioneers working in the foreground on the riverbank. This has a reverse side
letter in pencil and is postmarked Minden 29 March 1916.
The other
is an artwork postcard “Unsere Armierungstruppen” railway pioneers having a “Ruhepause”
(rest break) in their work rebuilding rail lines and bridge crossings. Reverse
has an ink letter and has a Bavarian Infantry Division Feldpost stamped dated
11 January 1916.
These 2x postcards
are in good condition overall and will be sent in an A4 Rigid Mailer.
