A very striking genuine, original German 1920s advertising poster for a "Travel Booklet (Reise Heft)" produced by the German magazine "UHU".
The fantastic artwork features a fun illustration of an owl dressed in a suit carrying a suitcase and an umbrella, smoking a cigar as it gets into a car.
Size is 48cm height x 30cm width.
IMPORTANT : In poor condition, and desperately needs framing to prevent further damage. Once framed a lot of the damage will not be hugely visible, and some of it adds to the character of the poster, but it is in poor condition with staining, folds, tears, paper losses on edges, creasing, paper skimming - I have tried to show this as closely as possible in the pictures.
Will be rolled in a very strong cardboard tube for maximum protection in transit.
