British Airborne Paratrooper Battledress trousers. Although often called 37 pattern Para Battledress trousers they where in fact based on the 40 patt BD trousers and where officially called "Trousers Parachutists". These where only issued to the British Airborne the design includes a special pocket to hold the Fairbairn Sykes "Commando" knife and a reinforced front pocket to hold extra weight so it can carry more ammo etc.
