* A brush can be used to fill the interior of the pen.

Inks can be placed in the middle of the pen with a dropper, pipette, or syringe.
* Inks that use silk in Hats and Talik1 sets will result in sharper writing quality.

* What to do if you have problems with Pratikpen while writing?

* If the pen is not writing

Make sure that the metals blades are in equal contact with each other. If one of the metals Blades is slightly misaligned, gently press on the sloped flange on a page till the blades are in equal contact. The problem will be solved when the metals are equal.
* If the nib is snagging on the paper

Write 5-6 letters on the sandpaper (between 1000 to 2000 grit). Repeat this process gently until the tips are soft.
* If the lines pool with ink whilst writing with the scroll pens...

When filling the reservoir between the blades, shake off excess ink gently or wipe swiftly on a cloth
* For patterned pens…

The tines of the scroll pens are very fragile and sensitive. Write slowly and carefully in order not to damage them. Fast movements can cause warping of the finer tines
* Tightening and Loosening the flanges in the Ruling and Pattern Ruling Pen Sets

The flanges can be tightened by turning the nut by hand, it is advisable to use small pliers for this while employing the included allen key. Take care to align the blades.

* How to clean the Pratikpen nib?

Brush with an old soft toothbrush on the outside. To clean the inside an old bristled brush is better as it will not force the flanges apart. Soap and lukewarm water are best. Be gentle with your cleaning or you may damages the tool.

Dry with a paper towel on the outside and thread through the blades for complete drying.
