PRIMULA WALTONII, WALTON'S PRIMROSE

A rare species from Bhutan with beautiful, nodding, funnel-shaped flowers to 3,5 cm across in intensive violet or wine-red colour. The attractive, dark green leaves are to 30 cm long. Very floriferous, excellent plant for rock gardens, borders and containers. Easy from seeds, often flowers first year if sown early.
