Carlton Ware Rouge Royal Shell Dish - 17cm long
The sticker on the base gives both the pattern number and shape number. The pattern number 3965 is "Plain Rouge Royale". The shape number 2196 is a "Shell Dish".
The backstamp with Carlton Ware Made in England was used between 1925-1970, the use of "Rouge Royal" was used from the late 1940's.
