Standard 7-Wire Remote Starting Control Assembly for Any Brand Portable Diesel Generators with a Fuel Shut-off Solenoid, especially for China-Made Diesel Generators Powered by 178FE, 186FE & 186FAE Diesel Engines. A Special 8-wire remote starting control assembly(also listed in our ebay store) with wireless remote glow plug function is also available,
extra charge of $25 applies.
Once our wireless remote control assembly is wired correctly, it will work independent of an ignition key switch. You can use your ignition key switch to start & stop your generator as before or pull your ignition key out of control panel board and use our remote to start & stop your generator.
The transmitter of remote control assembly is insensitive to the
change of ambient weather and temperature, and can reaches optimal remote distance of 60m (197ft). The applied decoding dual-CPU has high receiving
sensitivity and stability, and is inert to the interference of electromagnetic
field of generator.
It can be used for the replacement of any low quality 3-wire, 5-wire or 7-wire remote control
assembly for portable diesel generators with a
Fuel Shut-off Solenoid. All you need to do is to take
about one hour to rewire it. It is easy. Please refer to the Section of
Wiring Connections for your convenience.

1. Yellow/Green Wire (8-wire remote only, for wireless glow
plug): To light blue wire of ignition key switch (6-wire ignition
key switch only).
2. Black Wire (to grounding pole of oil sensor):
To yellow wire of ignition key switch.
3. Red Wire (12V DC input directly from a battery): To white
wire of ignition key switch.
4. Brown Wire (12V DC output by default & no power output once a remote started): To grey
wire of ignition key switch.
5. Orange Wire (12V DC output once a remote started): To fuel pump
solenoid.
6. White Wire (to electric contact pin of starter motor
solenoid): To red wire of ignition key switch.
7. Green Wire (12V DC signal sampling): To
positive pole of 12V DC on control panel.
8. Blue Wire (ground by default & open to ground once engine started): To
black wire of ignition key switch.
Warning:
1) if the 12V DC
output wire from 12V voltage stabilizer is connected to the GREY WIRE of your
ignition key switch assembly (refer to "C" position in the following pictures for ignition key switch), you MUST move and directly connect it to the
WHITE WIRE of your ignition key switch (refer to "D" position in the following pictures for ignition key switch, the white wire of ignition key switch
is connected to a battery positive pole as received.); otherwise, you can’t quit your generator
using our remote. The following are detailed wiring instructions on ignition key switch for your reference.
2) if the open pole of an oil sensor is wired to the black wire of ignition key switch (refer to "B" position in the following pictures for ignition key switch), you MUST remove it from the "B" position; otherwise, generator can only runs a little while and then quit. Namely, the open pole of an oil sensor can't be wired to an ignition key switch if our remote control unit is wired to an ignition key switch. You MUST DIRECTLY wire the positive pole of an oil sensor to a control board or relay for the control of oil sensor & fuel pump solenoid. The open pole of an oil sensor is usually pre-wired to a control board or relay for the control of oil sensor & fuel pump solenoid.
Vehicle Electronic Connector DJ7061-6.3-11 for Ignition Key Switch
- A: Yellow Wire, to the NEGATIVE POLE of an oil pressure sensor; the negative
pole is directly grounded to the engine case for a single pole sensor and
the top electrical contact for a two-pole sensor, respectively.
- B: Black Wire,
to the POSITIVE POLE of an oil pressure sensor; the positive pole
is the top electrical contact for a single pole sensor and the side
electrical contact for a two-pole sensor, respectively.
- C: Gray or Green Wire, to
the output of 12V voltage stabilizer for battery charging. Note: 12V voltage stabilizer is also called 12V voltage regulator, 12V
bridge rectifer or 12V manostat. It is usually installed underneath a starter
motor.
- D: White Wire, to
the POSITIVE POLE of DC 12V battery.
- E: Red Wire, to the terminal pin of a
starter motor solenoid.
- F: BLANK for standard 5-wire ignition key
switch or Light Blue Wire for a
special 6-wire ignition key switch with glow plug feature, to a DC 12V
glow plug (preheater).
Special Note: Different color wires may be used for different brand 5-wire or 6-wire ignition key switch. However, they are ALL wired at the same order and exchangeable one another, e.g., some ignition key switches are used with the following color wires:A: Green Wire, B: Black Wire, C: Yellow Wire, D: Red Wire, E: Brown Wire & F: Blue Wire.
