Detailed 1/4" deep carvings of early asian life, trees, plants, people, and buildings are on inlaid panels and have a lighter wood color.  Probably teak from my basic knowledge of woods and search of these dividers.  Back side of the panels have more subtle carvings of plants and trees maybe 1/16" depth
