Barong, masked figure, usually representing an unidentified creature called keket, who appears at times of celebration in Bali, Indonesia.
For the Balinese, Barong is the symbol of health and good fortune, in opposition to the witch, Rangda (also known as Calonarang).
Balinese/Indonesian wooden mask is considered to about the mythological depiction of animals that have supernatural powers and could protect humans and use in Barong dance, traditional Balinese and Java dance in Bali and Java, Indonesia so all masks were made to look powerful and mythological.
