3D printed full size helmet - phase 1 clone trooper from star wars episode II attack of the clones.

The helmet comes with a movable range finder.

Printed using resin and PLA to reduce finishing work and improve finish.

Sized to fit 23-24 inch head circumference.

Assembly required, parts slot together via alignment tabs. Helmet printed in 2 main parts, the body of the helmet and the dome, along with 2 part range finder and resin printed v coder which fits into a slot on the chin section.

Suggested finishing steps to obtain a smooth finish:

1. Sand PLA parts with 40 or 60 grit sandpaper

2. Sand PLA parts with 120 grit sandpaper.

3. Coat with filler primer or spray putty.

4. Wet sand resin and PLA parts with 240 grit sandpaper.

5. Coat with filler primer or spray putty.

6. Sand with 400 grit sandpaper.

7. If any imperfections remain, these can be filled with wood filler, car body filler etc. and sanded smooth again.

8. Assemble, prime and paint.
