Professional Stradivari Viola, Size 40 cm/15.5”  Handmade in Romania

• Made in Romania, in Reghin by Luthier Dumitru Pop who owns a private family business in his hometown and has 38 years of experience in making violins, violas, cellos and double basses and is now followed by his daughters.
• The viola is handmade from Carpathian wood (maple and spruce), it has a beautifully flamed one piece bottom, straight, clean fiber in the spruce used for the top, curly maple used for the ribs. The wood used is 20-24 years old. The viola is made to standard measurements but any instrument we make can be made to measures and preferences if needed.
• The year of construction is 2017 and the instrument comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the violinmaker.
• It is equipped with high quality accessories: Ebony accesories, Thomastik string combination set up by product manager Stojan Jovanovic, Ebony pegs; Ebony chinrest, Josef Teller tailpiece, Dumitru Pop bridge and soundpost adjusted and positioned for the best sound;
• It is tested by several professional musicians from the Romanian Orchestras and professors from Romanian Universities and music schools. We use this practice in order to develop a better sound on our instruments.
• The viola was set up in 2019 and has a beautiful sound, if requested a custom sound sample can be recorded.
