This is a ceramic hand painted bowl by Rostrand of Sweden artist Marianne Westman. It is 8.5 inches by 4.5 inches. It is a grey/white with a blue rim and green flowers around the sides. It is green in the bottom. It is marked on the underside with VDN 8555 ROSTRAND SWEDEN, HANDPAINTED, MW. Marianne Westman designed the bowl for Rorstrand of Sweden toward the end of 1969. It is from the series (Nytt Kok) "New Kitchen". This is a rare find. It is in beautiful condition with no chips of cracks. (anything in the pics that looks otherwise is flash glare).
