The Highland Regiment.

 

Description.

 

A cross resembling St. Andrew's Cross

but sharpened at each point ;

on the cross a circular strap with the buckle on

the left side level with the centre of the cross,

on the opposite side a thistle ;

the strap is inscribed at the top

" Highland "

and on the bottom

" Regiment ".

On the arms of the cross and within the strap,

two claymores, points uppermost ;

in the centre a Scottish targe or shield.

 

All in white - metal.

Size :           54mm.  x  53mm.

 

The badge comes complete with fixing lugs to the rear,

and is supplied with a fixing pin.
