Two seedlings (Licuala peltata) var Sumawongii native to the Malay penninsula.
This is the famous giant frond fan palm that is a showstopping conversation piece when people see how spectacular the 7 foot diameter frond blades are. A moderate speed grower and can tolerate the most cooling out of all the Licualas. As an understory palm it demands light shade or filtered sun in and a sheltered, ideally windless, humid environment. Very good indoors/greenhouse. Stays under 10 feet tall with eventual 7 foot diameter fan blades. Photo of the seedlings are the plants you will receive in sphagnum. USDA inspected.
