For sale, two 2 live bare rooted seedlings (Sommieria leucophylla) 'Elegans'  Sleek Palm, up to 3 inches tall.

The seedlings you will receive have been growing in a baggie in sphagnum and will need to be acclimated with care to the lower humidity outside of the baggie.  it is highly recommended that they be placed in non-soil sterile media on a automatic misting system using demineralized water (rainwater) or be covered with a canopy/bag to retain humidity until the roots begin to acclimate to the media.  a LED growlight will be sufficient as it is an understory palm and perfers shade or dappled sunlight.

This is the larger morph, growing to 3 meters tall with yellowish-white undersides to the entire and bifid fronds.

Will be shipped in sphagnum,  USDA inspected for domestic shipment
