This exclusive Australian Kookaburra 2023 Melbourne Money Expo ANDA Special is struck by the Perth Mint.

The coin portrays an image of two kookaburras perched on the branches of a shrub displaying the flowers of the Australian native Waratah.

Also included in the design is a privy mark with a coloured representation of a helmeted honeyeater, a rare yellow, black and olive feathered bird with golden tufts on either side of its head that became Victoria’s bird emblem in 1971.

The inscription states ‘Kookaburra’, the Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, and the weight, purity and the year 2023.
