This edger/trimmer was in my grandfathers tools, my Dad inherited and I got it from his estate in 1999. There is a number embossed on the inside of the casting- 3TSNBL. I could not find reference to this number despite the fact that American Lawn Mower Company has been in business since 1895. I hate to part with this piece of my history but I don't have enough space to continue storing this tool, want someone who has a passion for the old tools and has space. There is a small piece of the tire casting missing. Turns freely and the tire is intact (surprising fact given its age and use!!!).
I will ship the mower/trimmer dismantled in two boxes, 1 for handle and one for reel portion. This should save on the oversize dimensional shipment pricing but adds a little due to 2 boxes.
