Lako is the "Holy Grail" of bamboo - a Black Clumping bamboo!!!

At maturity will be 50 feet tall with canes that are 3.5 inches in diameter - maturity reached in approximately 4 years.

Full sun to full shade

Needs plenty of water for the first year and then only during drought conditions. 

More tropical in nature - hardy in zones 9 to 11
