A large, antique, copper plate. Kyoto Kanehiro. Japan Meiji (1868-1912)

English Description:

A Japanese copper/ "mixed-metal" dish of circular shape
resting on a short footrim, decorated in relief, katakiri-bori, kebori,
shakudo and gilt wash with floral motifs, including lotos, chrysanthemums,
prunus and iris flowers and mythical figural scenes,
inscribed along the lower margin "Kyoto Kanehiro dzu".
