Here we have a Blu-ray 4K Ultra HD steelbook of the excellent crime/erotic/noir/psychological thriller Basic Instinct

Directed by legendary Dutch filmmaker Paul Verhoeven (Robocop, Total Recall, Starship Troopers) and stars Michael Douglas, Sharon Stone, George Dzundza, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Denis Arndt

Rare 3-disc German import, released by Studio Canal. The '4K Ultra HD' disc is playable on a 4K setup (a 4K television, 4K Blu-ray player etc.) however the standard '2K' Blu-ray disc only requires a standard Blu-ray player in order to play. The 4K disc is playable on any 4K player however the standard '2D' Blu-ray discs are Region B-locked; will play on any UK/European Blu-ray player (or any player belonging to Australia, New Zealand et al. since those regions share the same region coding for Blu-rays)

Even though it's a foreign release, it contains a lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track in English

Unsealed but is in mint condition; doesn't have any dings, dents, scratches or any such imperfections - it's been well looked after since I picked it up originally, and it's been kept in a plastic polysleeve to stop it from picking up any unnecessary wear from being slid on and off the shelf etc.

This German 4K steelbook of Basic Instinct is rare and difficult to come by nowadays as these were only produced in a limited quantity by Studio Canal and has been OOP (Out of Print) for a little while now. As pictured, includes a collector's booklet (select pages are shown in pictures 8-15)
