This is a vintage black cast iron bracket with a  horse and carriage/buggy mounted on the top. It is a great piece from the mid-40s possibly early 50s. The bracket is the type that can be mounted to a post on the porch or even a mailbox post. The horse and buggy are cut from a thinner piece of metal or tin. Once cut out it was attached to the bracket. The topper is sturdy and does not move. It was painted black but the paint is flaking in places.  This would be great for decor. Hang it inside or out. Add a nameplate or address to it. It measures 12¾" across x 9½" tall. The bracket has two predrilled holes for easy mounting. This would make a great addition to any Farmhouse or horse ranch.
