An interesting and unusual pair of antique Oriental carved wood display stands.  Both are carved in an ovoid natural form. I have included several images and these can be enlarged for a closer inspection.  The images are taken with camera flash to show the colour and patina of the wood.

They are a pair, but obviously not completely identical.  One is marked with one line mark and the other with three line marks.

Looking at the images you can see there is an old repair to one of the stands.  I can confirm this is secure and stable.  It is also more visible because of the camera flash.

The stands would be ideal for displaying Jade carvings.
