Description: PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
'Boz Scaggs', his second album, is another unjustly underrated album of the classic rock era. It's a stylistically diverse album. Boz incorporates several genres, including Americana, Blue-Eyed Soul, Country, and Rhythm 'N Blues. The opening track is a beautifully crafted version of the Jimmy Rogers classic "Waiting For A Train", which sets the tone for what's to come. "Now You're Gone" features Duane Allman on dobro, in a virtuoso performance on an instrument he played far too seldom. One of the highlights of the album is the amazing 12:30 "Loan Me A Dime," a delicately soulful blues wail that evolves into brilliant guitar work from Duane. This is Boz at his best, and with the famous Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section and Duane Allman on guitar you may call this his masterpiece.
