A lovely duo of creamer/milk jug and open sugar basin.

From Alfred Meakin, in the Tain pattern, it dates to the early part of the 20th Century - 1910-30

The milk measures 8cm in height and is 9cm in diameter at the top; the sugar is 6.5cm x 13cm.

The design has a transfer base, and isn't placed perfectly - so there are a few wobbles in the lines. The handpainted colour though is expertly applied.

There are no chips, cracks etc, and the gilt rims are barely worn.
