The special ceremony In Japanese is called : Ochatsubo douchuu
(Example showing Ochatsubo douchuu in the above pictures)
How To Prepare (For one person):
Using a bamboo whisk (chasen) and tea bowl
Step1: Add 1 or 2 tablespoon of Matcha powder into a cup or Matcha Bowl
Step2: Add 60cc of Hot Water. For best result, Use water just under a boil.
Step3: Whisk vigorously in a zig zag motion (Move like a M shape) until the tea is frothy.
Step4: Enjoy your matcha tea straight from the bowl.
OR
Matcha in a cup
Step1: Heat spring or filtered water
Step2: Add a few drops of hot water to matcha powder and mix into paste with a spoon
Step3: Add more hot water to paste mixture and stir. Try 1 teaspoon to 180cc of water. Adjust measurement to suit taste
Step4: Matcha is ready to drink
